On the Way - Episode 2 : Where You're at isn't Important

Throughout the Bible god makes it clear that where you are at in life isn't important, it's how you respond to him that is. This week Tim asks us an important question.

"What would Jesus ask you to let go of? What is it in your life that is holding you back from chasing after Jesus completely? "

Whether it's a relationship, a hobby, your career, money, a mind set, addictions, or anything; if something is holding you back from following in gods plan than it just isn't worth it.

"For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." - Jeremiah 29:11

On the Way - Episode 1 : Gods Purpose over your Plans

Pastor Tim Mangan opens up a new series called "On the Way" by sharing his own life experiences with a childhood mentor and friend who once challenged him on his life choices. Tim goes on to admit that he was forced to make a difficult decision that would drastically shift his life path, but through this he realized some where along the way he had veered off gods path and is eternal grateful for the wise council. In our own moments of adversity we need to be humble enough to hear these messages when they come to us, but to also be open and available so god can speak through us unto others.

"The heart of man plans his way, but the lord establishes his steps" - Proverbs 16

You are a Leader

Steph Mangan stands before us this week and tells us that we all are leaders, whether we realize it or not. Be it our friends, family, or in our community; we are all called to live lives that lead those in our world to god. It’s not a choice whether you ARE leading, only WHERE you are leading those who follow you.

The Impact of Obedience - Episode 4: Drawing Closer To God

In today’s podcast Pastor Tim Mangan quotes Matthew 6:21,

“ Where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.”

Tim explains that for us to grow our heart in something, we must chose to invest into it. God is always drawing closer to us. Tim urges us to invest in our relationship with god in order to reap the benefits of his blessing.

“ Draw near to god, and he will draw near to you.” James 4:8

Our Perspective on Difficulty

Former Life Church founding member Jason Gray visits from Norway and speaks on the importance of perspective when dealing with challenges in our life.

"The obstacles that we face don't have to determine or define our life. Who god has called you to be is on the other side of that obstacle."

The Pulse - Episode 3 : Being Planted in the House of God

“Being Planted in the House of the Lord” is the third of four key areas we as a Church can continue to grow in. Pastor Tim Mangan explains that being present, purposeful, and committed to the Church allows us to flourish in our lives.

"We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act, but a habit." - Aristotle
